Hacı Mahmud Ağa Mosque

A primary school was constructed near the mosque in the 17th century and the mosque became a lodge for Şabaniye sect, a branch of Halvetiye. After dervish lodges and Islamic monasteries were shut down in the Republican Era, the mosque remained abandoned for a long time and it was restored to retain its character by Zeytinburnu Municipality as a part of Culture Valley project.
