Merkezefendi People’s Library

After serving for different purposes, the building was covered with glass and opened as Merkezefendi People’s Reading House in 2016. The reading house has a shelf capacity of 45.000 volumes. It contains a study room for 201 people, a waiting room for 48 people and a conference hall for 68 people along with an observation terrace and a snack bar where free offerings are served. The library is open for 7/24 hours.
